7D Mk Ii Back LCD replacement price?
Has anyone had to have the back LCD Replaced on the 7DMKII? My 2 year onetime MKII suddenly developed miscolored bands on the LCD concluding night out of the bluish. It was pretty random as my photographic camera is always in a padded pocketbook when not being used, it hasn't been banged, dropped, nudged. folded, spindled or mutilated.
Just wondering if anyone has sent theirs dorsum to Catechism for a repair, and what the toll was, I just got my 24-105 back from them at a price of $350, and so I'g a bit nervous most price. (And being without my chief shooter for a calendar week or two while they repair)

No direct help to your question other than to say to contact mother Canon or perhaps they have an online estimating tool. I know the work is really fast. Unless they accept to wait for blessing from y'all can see the photographic camera back in your hands in a week. Advice could be ameliorate only information technology's non terrible either.

I called Canon and spoke to a customer service person in the tech repair division. Later my 7D mark Ii took a wave solace head on. The screen was completely soaked and unresponsive. I lucked out every bit it was fresh water. Afterward three days in a zip lock bag with silica all things were normal.
I did call canon and asked the aforementioned question also. The response was the labor for a screen replacement is $219 plus the cost of the LCD screen which she did not know.

Yep, they practise work fast, I recently had my 24-105 serviced, Shipping, repair and return shipment totaled nigh 5 business days. They don't have an online estimating tool as I remember, but they give you an approximate equally soon as they get your equipment.

Thanks for that info, My best approximate was around $500, so maybe it will be less. I'd hate to spend more than 1/3 of what I bought the camera for in repairs, merely c'est la vie.
