Step 14: Roof

Main House: Complete the Setup for the Main House with the settings below

Add a roof using the roof tool
  Roof: Pitch 6"/12"; Thickness 6"; Overhang 12"; Project 0 = 7'-10"

1. Create an outline of your roof. See attached fie Roof Plan for details
2. Using the roof tool design each panel individually.
Project 0 = 7'-10"
Pitch: 6"/12"
Roof Thickness = 6"
3. Create each panel independently as rectangles
4. Trim roof panels to meet each other using the Connect option (select roof panel to trim > Right Mouse Button > Select Connect > Trim Elements to Roof/Shell > Select Element to trim to > Select which part of the roof you want to keep.)
5. Raise gable ended walls to height of 20'-0"
6. Trim walls to roof using Connect or Crop to Roof. (NOTE Gable located on the Right Side will have difficulty trimming too.)

Print: 2D and 3D of Cabin and Main House Roof

Main House: Exterior Elevation (Front and Right)
   After Adding the Roof on the Main House Add the Features as shown (I.E Gable Vent, Pipe, Detailed Door with Light, Door Knob Etc. Ignore the Stairs ) DO NOT Dimension

     Step 15: Plot Plan

Dimension the Plot Plan as seen; Note may add landscaping if desired. See Tutorial for getting started below
